While i have been here i have got to greatly improve my Russian language skills. However i understand that many people here are just now beginning to develop that interest. This must be a completely different way of viewing the trip and i would love to know how everyone has liked the first week. I think that it has been filled with a lot of culture shock. From Richard getting snapped at on the metro to the Russian girls coming to our lobby and hanging out. This first week has been a great insight into Russian culture.
Well, Sparton,good question. I'm sure each of us had a different experince and it would be intersting to see how each persons went. Mine wasn't to shaby. I have had a little touble with the language as most of you know, but at the same time i learned a lot and have had a lot of fun. My first week was more confusing on the first two days because i didnt know how to talk to anyone, not i can make the tiniest conversation and at least say thank you. I feel like i will be able to speak quite a bit more by the end of this month, Im excited.
